Who we are
ShopLeads (shopleads.io) is run by the company named on your receipt, which is the controller of the data described here. Contact: [email protected].
If you work at an e-commerce store
ShopLeads is a database of e-commerce stores and the people who run them. We publish this notice instead of contacting each person individually, because that would take a disproportionate effort.
What we hold: your name, job title, seniority and department, the store you work at, your location, your email address and phone numbers where we find them, including a mobile number if a data provider lists one, and your public professional profile. About the store, we hold public business facts such as what it sells, the tools on its site, its ads and its hiring.
Where it comes from: public websites, public business and professional profiles, public ad libraries, licensed business data providers, and our own checks that an email address accepts mail.
Why: so businesses that sell to e-commerce stores can find and contact the right person about business matters.
Legal basis: legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)), both ours in running a business directory and our customers' in reaching people at stores about relevant business offers.
Who receives it: ShopLeads customers who open a record, and the providers that host our systems. Customers must use it only for lawful business contact and must honor opt-out requests.
How long: while the details stay current and useful. You can have yours removed at any time.
Transfers: our providers may process data outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area, under standard contractual clauses where those are required.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, and you can object to its use at any time. To have your details removed, and kept out when we refresh the data, use this form or write to [email protected]. We act on requests within 30 days.
California residents have the right to know, delete and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and we won't discriminate against you for using these rights. Canadian residents can make the same requests under PIPEDA. Use the same form or address. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
If you have a ShopLeads account
We hold your name, email address, company and website, your sign-in records, your purchases, your credit use, your searches and exports, your support messages, and your API keys, which we store only as one-way hashes. Your payment provider holds your card details; we never see them.
We use this to run your account, prevent abuse, send the emails your account needs and meet legal and tax duties. We send product and offer emails only where the law allows, and each one has an unsubscribe link. We don't sell customer data.
When you give us your website, we read it, and AI providers process what it says so we can work out who you sell to and rank stores for you.

- Google Firebase, for sign-in and account storage
- Stripe, for payments
- Resend, for email
- Cloudflare, for network delivery and bot checks
- Our server host, for the application and database
- Perplexity and Anthropic, for reading and summarizing websites
Cookies
We set a cookie to keep you signed in. Google and Cloudflare may set their own when you sign in with Google or pass a bot check. We don't use advertising cookies.
Changes
If this notice changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and tell account holders by email.
